What's on My Easel?? ...
Inspired by a beautiful apple tree in my backyard, I actually started this one last Spring but the thick 🎨paint🎨 took a long time to 'dry' ... I got back to it a few days ago, before I picked up the flu. Just looking at it makes me feel better ... I will call it 'Blossoms', thick oil with knife impasto on canvas, still a WIP ...

"Shelly Sheep" by Lynda Cookson
Shelly the sheep was a daft animal who lived in the fields next to our house in Ireland. She would occasionally find a way to go AWOL from her field and come and stare me out through my studio window, slobbering on the glass. She had that wonderful, bossy stare that those black-faced sheep seem to know how to do so well!

Second to last day ... and after deciding that I don't want to always do a painting a day ... I'm going to miss it! Silly. I think it suits sometimes ... and not other times when I want to really get stuck into a big project. And that's the pleasure of living a seesaw life LOL
