When I'm in scene searching mode, I spend lots of time squinting at things - all kinds of things - everything, practically. If I give my imagination enough time to obliterate the objectivity of what's really there, I can begin to pull just about anything from the blur of shapes, values and colors that squinted eyes will get you. This is one such scene... planning to paint sunflowers, but ending up intrigued by the cool north light behind a pile of fabric. Easily translates to a landscape - I think so anyway!
