PEOPLE, CITY, CROWDS, TOM BROWN CONTEMPORARY URBAN LANDSCAPE

I love people-watching, especially in the heart of city activity.
Sometimes I sit at a sidewalk coffee shop and sketch or shoot photos of people passing by. Later I may use the sketches for studio paintings. Other times I open my small metal paint box and paint on the spot.
My paint box looks like a laptop and it doesn’t attract any attention, leaving me free to paint people nearby without anyone being aware.
This is a 6x6 inch original oil painting I call “KEEPING UP ON THINGS”
I’ve put this painting on eBay with a very low starting bid. If you like it, place a bid now before I change my mind. (I can’t raise the starting bid once a bid has been placed.) Click here to bid:

STREET, CITY, BUILDINGS, TOM BROWN CONTEMPORARY URBAN LANDSCAPE

After a refreshing rain the air is clean and sweet. The streets sparkle with reflected light. And a colorful glow lights up the sky. It’s as if life is giving us a fresh start.
That’s what I wanted to express in this painting, and I was pleased with the result. I hope you agree. This is a 6x6 inch original oil painting named “AFTER THE RAIN”
