Sunflower Jubilee was my class demonstration this morning for students from Louisiana, Ohio, and all parts of Texas. I had quite a contingent from Louisiana, as well as ladies from other states, who all shared one thing in common - a love for bright color! Using fresh flowers, students used broad strokes to create loose, fresh sunflowers on a bed of transparent paint. Transparents are such a great way to push floral colors to their absolute brightest. Tomorrow we paint white hydrangeas, stay tuned to my art blog for more pictures to come!
Busy bees painting sunflowers today!
