Karensfineart Original oil painting Venice Gondolas by Karen Tarlton

I am a dreamer it's true, so when I do I paint my dreams, thoughts and visions.
I think all this winter and snow is making me long for
warm summer days and a magical get away.
But for now paint some memories!

“All people dream, but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind, wake in the morning to find it was vanity.
But the dreamers of the day are dangerous people
For they dream their dreams with open eyes
And make them come true”

Would love to have the chance to travel to either of these two places again sometime.
In the meantime, I'm painting from wonderful memories.
All the beautiful color of Venice
and the warm waters and cool breeze of the beach -
I'm not sure which is my favorite place!

"Ah, Venezia!" by Karla Nolan, italy, venice, dusk, sunset

I guess Italy must be on my mind these days, having recently posted a Tuscan poppy fields and now a sunset in Venice.  Italy is one of the most wonderful places on the planet, I have had the best times there with the delicious food, wonderful wines, and lively and enchanting people.  Venice is a true gem, the canals and sights are mind boggling.  Do go there if you can!

"Ah, Venezia!", 14"x11" palette knife oil painting on gesso board, $300 includes s/h in continental U.S., click Paypal button below or write me at KarlaNolan@gmail.com for more information

Listing tomorrow and it's a magical place to go and just watch the world go by.
A cup of coffee or a glass of wine, better yet
and watch the light change on the water
and feel the antiquity.
Lovely.

"Yellow Boat Waiting, Venice, Italy" by Karla Nolan

Walking down a flight of stairs and then directly outdoors from the bed and breakfast in Venice, there was a small canal -- not like the Grand Canal where the vaporettos run (like buses on water) -- just a small side street, if you will.  Here floated a small yellow boat, next to an old red brick building, under the red geraniums, waiting, waiting, waiting for its owner to take it further out onto the water -- maybe owner would be planning to pick up some groceries, get to work, meet up with friends?  I'll never know, but it was a Venetian sort of comfort to see this yellow vehicle ready for the day....

"Yellow Boat Waiting, Venice, Italy", 8"x6" miniature oil painting on canvas, $95 includes s/h in the continental U.S.

Paypal preferred, write me at KarlaNolan@gmail.com for more information -- as always, thank you for looking!

Greetings from Fort Collins, Colorado!
