Caribbean Sunset by Bob Read
Caribbean Sunset 16"x20" Unframed For Sale
This is my 2nd pallete knife painting. We get some dazzling sunsets in the Caribbean. The island of Bequia is tiny, only 2x7 miles, with 5000 residents. It has a number of lovely coves and inlets. I painted this one in Spring, on the northern part of the island. The ship in the distance is called the Friendship Rose. It provides tours all throughout The Grenadines. You can see it and my other paintings on my website, www.bobreadartist.com.

When I'm not painting, I enjoy blogging about my life's experiences on my website www.bobreadartist.com. In my former lives I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in India where I taught math and physics, then went into journalism and TV news where I was an anchorman/reporter/news director, then into real estate for many years. Now retired and serious about my painting and writing.
