This is another Piece that I did using a Brayer, Palette Knife and Brush.  It's a fun technique to do because there is still an element of surprise (for me!) to the finished piece.

'GIRL TALK'

This is a 6 x 6" Acrylic on wood panel dine with a palette knife.  The areas of deciduous trees where I live is somewhat limited so it's nice when we come upon a group in the process of changing colors.  Where I am it is mostly all Evergreens.   This comes nicely framed and ready to hang.

'AND THE MOON PICKED HIS FAVORITE . . .'

Acrylic on 6 x 6" Wood Panel.

This was originally done just by brushwork.  I wasn't completely satisfied so I let it sit and just recently went back to it.  I decided to go over the whole piece (keeping the same basic painting) with Palette Knife.  I liked the finished effect much better.  Using the Palette Knife seemed to add just a bit more 'mystery' to the Painting. :)
