I took to the studio to play and have fun. I am putting together my workshop for August at Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas.
You can still register at the Gallery for the full two day class or only for Saturday.
Brave at heart... that is what it takes to let go and play. Sometimes we force things on the canvas and try to make them work. I have learned that abstract painting is not for the faint of heart but for the brave soul that will step forward and not be afraid to make a mistake. For the artist that can be swayed and moved and excited by colors blending and mixing...for the artist than senses balance and composition.
If you think about it you have to be that way with life everyday. If you are over controlling it is simply NOT going to work. That results in total frustration. Trusting God each day for what happens is the only way to survive and do it with a content heart and sound mind.
Time to try that with the canvas again... off to 'play' I go.
