Montgomery Sidewalk, by Carrie Jacobson

Montgomery Sidewalk
By Carrie Jacobson
Oil on canvas, 10x30, sold

On Saturday, a group of painters from the Wallkill River School in Montgomery, N.Y., went out into the historic village and painted from 9 a.m. until noon. Then, we framed our paintings and they were auctioned off, still wet.

The event was a fund-raiser for the Village of Montgomery Bicentennial. It was really fun for all of us painters, and for passersby and buyers, too!

To see more of my work, check out my website and my blog! It's never too early to start thinking about holiday presents; art makes a great gift.
