"Dipped in Cream" by Lynda Cookson

A palette knife was used in this painting to mainly to move the white background to places I wanted it to be. The other colours were dropped in.

"Dipped in Cream" is now at The Gaslamp Gallery in Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland and will be featured in their Spring exhibition.

Abstracted Aquaduct a 36" x 12" original painting by Sarah Morley

Here's a photo of my recent palette knife painting of a our local aquaduct.  Look carefully and you can also see Aquaduct House. I am pleased with it and like it for it's use of colour and interesting shapes. It really does not matter if you have never seen this aquaduct!

This is on show at a small community exhibition I have this week at Marple Library, Memorial Park, Marple, Cheshire. Do go see if you are in the vicinity. I am doing this to raise money for the charity "Above & Beyond" supporting Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. 

The painting measures 36" x 12" and is for sale  at the knock down price of £180 ($280). If buying from away there would also be some shipping. I also have a very limited edition of up to 5 prints for $40 each.
