This little painting is one of my favourites. It shows the top of the plateau - it is the highest point yet it is just flat with various rocks lying around. I love the colours in this one! This is the fifth in a series of paintings I did recently, inspired by a walk around Kinderscout, in the High Peak National Park, Derbyshire, England. This painting is of the view looking down to Kinderscout Reservoir, that you get when you have just done the steepest part of the climb. This painting was also a challenge to do - all those greens!
