Central Park NYC paintings palette knife fine art impressionism by Karen Tarlton

The most unusual and surrealistic spot in NYC is Central Park.
Finished these two right after my visit there last week.

Wedding Gift for His Bride by Marion Hedger

Looking through my archive of commissioned paintings I came across this collage which I don't think I have posted before.

These four paintings were commissioned last year as a wedding present from the groom for his new bride. They were all of places that were special to them both.

This was such a sweet and loving gift don't you think?

Original oil paintings Central Park New York Autumn by Karen Tarlton

have two brand new New York paintings inspired by Central Park from my last visit a month ago, and here is one of them.
We stay fairly close to the park and my husband is a marathon runner, so while he goes for miles
and miles, I run/walk/jog stop to sketch and photograph
this amazing place.
Yes I like the Gapstow Bridge area best!
And here are my creations.
I hope you enjoy!
