Night at Stonehenge, by New York artist, Celeste Plowden

Painting the sky with a palette knife not only adds the texture of layers, but easily gives the impression of a sky laden with clouds, mist and atmosphere. Everything was worked with a palette knife for textures, except the hint of shading on the stones.
8x10 acrylic on acid free canvas panel, UV varnish, available upon request
