Manchester at night - original oil painting by Sarah Morley
Here is another of my experimental figure paintings - experimental as I am painting my first ever set of paintings lit by street light - and I am enjoying my 2015 New Year challenge - paint figures or a portrait as every other painting - a good challenge to a natural landscape/seascape knife painter like me!
The painting measures 30" x 24" and will be for sale when dry. Priced at $400. Contact me, Sarah Morley on my website ( see link) or ring me - UK (0)7946432818

I am an artist, based in Stockport, UK, where I am part of the communal art studios in an old cotton mill, Vernon Mill. Art is my second career. I started it over 30 years ago when I started a Fine Art degree which I was really not ready for.
I returned to my painting over 6 years ago. I paint mainly landscapes and seascapes in a semi abstract way that I hope invokes the feeling of 'being there'. Texture, light, colour and energy are important in my painting.
