These old grain bins sit idle now, but remain as a reminder of past harvests ... the swirl of grain dust flying about as wheat piles higher and higher ... the sound of trucks and augers and farmers trying to talk above the noise ... hopes for a bountiful season.
This original landscape painting is rich with the texture of palette knife work. It is done in an American impressionist style and depicts a rural Midwestern scene.
In addition to painting, I enjoy encouraging others in their creative pursuits and have written three ebooks with this aim:
- Creating Texture with Watercolor & YUPO Synthetic Paper
- The Beginner's Watercolor eBook: Start Painting Today
- How to Write an Ebook of Art and Craft Demos
