Summer Sisters White Daisies is named for two sisters who attended my workshop in Collierville, Tennessee, last week, one from Pennsylvania and the other from New Jersey, who take trips together so they can have girl bonding time. Having grown up with three sisters, it is always a treat to hear siblings in the room teasing each other during class, and knowing they are sharing a bit of an adventure together.
This painting is my 30th painting in 30 days, the final submission to the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge by Leslie Saeta. I was able to get a new painting finished every day despite flying to teach out of state workshops, traveling to spend time with my sweet Mom in hospice care, and taking care of four very spoiled, bossy little pugs. I think this calls for a celebration, double portions of homemade pizza even! Come on over, I've saved you a piece....but you'd better hurry!
