This
is a fantasy painting, I was just playing. There is this tree at
Heathcote botanical gardens that sort of looks like this, has small pink
flowers and gnarly looking trunk and branches. It was loosely based
on that tree. Its 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite. <!-- NODP begin dailypainters html template 256878 --><form style='margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;' action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target="_blank"><input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_xclick"/><input type="hidden" name="business" value="lorartbus@aol.com"/><input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="1518 Pink Blossoms"/><input type="hidden" name="item_number" value="1518 Pink Blossoms 527_520_256878" /><input type="hidden" name="invoice" value="527_520_256878"><input type="hidden" name="amount" value="200" /><input type="hidden" name="shipping" value="0"/><input type="hidden" name="no_shipping" value="0"><input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD"/><input type="hidden" name="lc" value="US"/><input type="hidden" name="bn" value="PP-BuyNowBF"/><input style='margin-top:5px;margin-right:10px;' type="image" width="62" height="31" src="http://www.dailypainters.com/images/paypal_button.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!" align='left'><div>Buy this painting on PayPal</div><div>Price: $200 USD</div><div>Or, <a href="mailto:Lori.mcnamara@gmail.com">send me an email</a></div></form><!-- end dailypainters html template 256878 -->

1518 Pink Blossoms
I was born in Ft. Pierce and lived there all my life. I have an Associate in Art degree from the Indian River Community College in Fort Pierce. I consider myself primarily self taught.
I am a member of Plein Air Florida, and the leader of Plein Air Painters of the Treasure Coast. My paintings are in art collections worldwide.
I have co-published an article in Plein Air Magazine.
I have contributed paintings to Art for Nature, Heathcote Botanical Gardens, Habitat for Humanity and various other charities.
I love painting outside using the painting knife. I love the rich texture and lustrous effects I can get with the knife.
My studio is located in my home on Indian River Drive in Fort Pierce. I use both of my names in my art, Lori McNamara and Lenore McNamara.
I can be reached at lori.mcnamara@gmail.com
