Years ago I was able to photograph flowers in many places and gardens. In Florida, these hibiscus grow in great numbers and with numerous varieties and colors. Making close-up photographs was great fun and the results make wonderful ideas for paintings. This single bloom is a favorite. The background was completed with the palette knife while brushes were used for the bloom itself. It is 16x20 in size and is available from either the artist's website or directly from the artist.
