BOSTON TERRIER PUPPY by OLGA WAGNER

This is now the third time that I painted this little pup. I don't know what it is about him that makes me want to paint him, maybe it's the sad look that he projects onto the viewer. I have been very much under the weather the last few weeks. It's nasty cold will that not leave me alone... Painting this little bugger did lift my spirits a bit.

I also have the pear #5 on my easel. That one should be posted tomorrow - so stay tuned!

ALL AMERICAN
6 x 12 Oil on Stretched Canvas

Available $150

Sides are painted as an extension of the painting, which allows the painting to be hug without a frame. Of course this Patriotic little dude would also look great framed in a contemporary frame.

CHIHUAHUA PUPPY IN A HAND by OLGA WAGNER

Every year I end up getting a tube of Torrit Grey from Gamblin. Torrit Grey is created once per year by combining all the paint dust collected in the filtration system. Since the dust particles vary from year to year, so does the end product. Every year Torrit Grey is unique. Lat year the grey had a violet hue to it. This year it it reminds me of graphite.

This painting was created by using Torrit Grey, Titanium White and a touch of Lukas Magenta Red and Manganese Blue

RED DRESSAGE HORSE STUDY by OLGA WAGNER

This is a small color study that I worked on list night. I have had a 24 by 24 canvas sitting around for a while that was primed and ready to go, but was not fully sure the direction that I wanted to push the colors to... This glowing color combo is for sure one of the current forerunners... I have also entered this one in this weeks Daily Paintworks Challange which calls for using different color combinations to depict the original image.
