Glass Study #6 I believe is my best one so far. Though I have started study #7 so stay tuned. Some of my astute artist friends, if you look closele or go to the Larger View you may notice a few brush strokes (shhh, don't tell) I know, another traditional painting (my 3rd in 3 years) and Brush strokes too! ] Can you believe it??? Sadly, I have fallen of the wagon of 30 days of painting. However, the reason for this was because I was in Scottsdale AZ going from gallery to gallery viewing LOTS of art! So in a way I was painting with my eyes ad memories. Does that count? I am going to say yes! I am back home now and back to the paints with lots of inspiration and ideas! 30 Days of Painting ~ Glass Study #6 Blue and Green by Karen Balon

Using only a palette knife and bold colors Karen’s painting are intended to draw you in and caressing you like a lover. Sensual and tantalizing, whimsical and teasing, with curves that ebb and flow. Her pieces have been described as cosmic, relaxing yet full of energy, intuitive, erotic, fantasy, peaceful, organic and come from deep within her. You can feel her interconnectedness to the universe, she captivates you with her use of emotion, color and swirling tendrils that are a big part of her and her artwork.
Karen’s goal is for the viewer to find their own unique interpretation in her paintings. To let the imagination run free for a while and connect with their inner most feelings.

Remember when answers came as simply as daisy petals? (Well that was a looooonnng time ago). "Loves me, Loves me not.....Loves me" is a little 6"x6" oil on archival panel, cup-full of daisies. The antique pressed green glass is a gift from my Aunt Jo. It has been wanting to get in on the scene with all the daisies I've been painting! Now, as far as petal-pulling for answers, I'd really like to know; Is Spring Coming, or Is It Not, Is Spring Coming?????
