"Scarlet Tulips" by Lynda Cookson

This was a fun experiment with surfaces to paint on, which turned out rather well. I have a small stock of magnetised "mats" which I have gesso-ed in readiness for painting on. The end result is an oil painting which doesn't have to be framed and which can be attached to any metal surface (eg. fridge) ... or surface which will attract a magnetised backing.
