This oil on canvas is 24" x 48" and was started with large brushwork strokes then towards the middle I used large painting knives to complete this sunrise painting of the Mariposa, CA foothills. The oak groves in the front have some interesting knife work which does not show up in this photograph. Happy Thanksgiving to all and may we all live in peace. www.pennyotwell.com
