I started this painting on Sunday as my demo at the "Elements-Air" exhibition at the Sedona Center for the Arts. I recently found a little plein air study that I had done a couple of years ago in a workshop in Sedona. We were practicing making clouds. The study was done with a brush, but I used the initial impression as the basis for this larger painting done with a palette knife.
