Summer Sunflower Series by Pamela Blaies

I've decided to paint a series of paintings with sunflowers I picked up last week. I'm planning to continue it for as long as they last and they are still hanging in there. I love the effect of hydrangeas in the background. The bright red verbena from my backyard adds to the warm summer color combination. Here are two smaller paintings I just finished.
