A relaxing stroll down the shady sidewalks of historic Savannah. These window boxes caught my eye ... a little spot of color in a rare sunny spot on the sidewalk. This painting is done entirely with a palette knife giving it wonderful color and touchable texture.

Colorful Memories by Pamela Blaies

Colorful Windowbox

11" x 14"
Oil on Canvas

I've always loved windowboxes. They are so charming and full of color. I lived in Paris, France for a while in my 20's and there are beautiful windowboxes throughout the city and beyond. That time seems like a lifetime ago. But the little curtains in the window and the sunny colors of this painting carry my mind right back to my days in Paris.
