Angel original oil painting by Karen Tarlton - palette knife impressionism

As the world gets seemingly more topsy turvy I have
the need to paint more angels.
I hope they bring peace, joy, love and integrity back into the hearts of us all.

Original oil painting Santa Clause and Christmas Angel Bells by Karen Tarlton

You know what happens every time a bell rings don't you?

I'm busy as a little elf this month, painting holiday gifts for you all.....fun!
We are running out of time it seems.
Two new 12x12s that are just about dry!

Original oil painting Angel with Dove by Karen Tarlton

Birds are nest in our backyard
There is even a tiny nest inside my watering can!

So they inspired this little angel painting. I love watching the birds in the Spring!

Sometimes I do wake up in the middle of the night with a thought suddenly in my head. Inspriration from I don't know where, but since I can't paint at 2 a.m. I just go write it down.
(My husband is used to my pitter paddering around in the middle of the night now.)
In the morning, there it is, like a note from the heavens....paint this! Anyway here are my latest.
The dog one may have been inspired by my Maggie, pushing her way onto my pillow the other night but whatever it was, HERE THEY ARE!
