This was inspired from an outing on Lake Granbury. I met my friend, Joyce Thomas before sunrise. I painted quickly getting several color studies and taking a number of photographs.  

This was painted with acrylics and in the studio. I have found working with acrylics is a new challenge. They dry quicker and darker that oil paintings. I am learning new ways to achieve the textured I like. This is available for purchase. $500.00
