Have any of you ever been to Baldwin Beach? I can't remember if it is in Kahului, where the airport is on Maui or in Paia, the next town up. I do remember that it gets windy in the afternoons so its best to plan your visit early. The trees are also famous for their thorny roots so you best be donnin your
"slippas" (flip-flops, thongs, sandles, go-aheads) before going for a walk anywhere near them. They do provide wonderful shade though.
