Harbor Boats Early Morning Light
Oil

Going to the beach tomorrow!
Sadly a storm is on the way, kind of a big one
but I don't care I'm going because it's time to see the ocean....must be done!
Here are some calm seas but my next painting might be a bit more stormy :)

Original oil painting Boats at Sea palette knife fine art impressionism by Karen Tarlton

 8x8
Oil
Today I wanted to paint boats again because they relax me,
comfort me and give me peace of mind (as long as I'm not actually on one but painting it)
but these I painted last week and they are now dry and listed!
Today I worked on some bees which will list next week and a very large commission
for a collector.
will post progression photos soon!

Original oil painting Starry NIght Harbor Boats by Karen Tarlton

Starry Night Harbor Boats
Oil
Only one more day left until we turn the page on our calendars
and begin 2013
Hard to believe.
I still believe some of the things that were the most
beautiful last year will be my favorites this year.
For example, I will always Love:
 a Starry sky
Reflective water
Sunsets
A warm fire and a cozy blanket
a really great cup of coffee
a really great glass of wine
a homemade meal
my child's embrace
my husband's smile
May your New year be as great as your old one.
