"Brendan" by Lynda Cookson

"Brendan" was sent off last year to temporarily reside in the Bushmills 1608 Art Gallery in the town of the same name ... and yes, the same town that precious (to some) golden fluid, Bushmills Whiskey comes from. The whiskey was first made in 1608, hence the name of the gallery. I'm due to visit Bushmills in a month or two to see if "Brendan" has found his permanent home yet.

We lived in Connemara, in the West of Ireland, for thirteen years, surrounded by these cheeky, bold, black-faced sheep. They're evidently resilient enough to withstand the boggy terrain and harsh weather, and certainly have the character for it! I miss them.
