Old buildings always fascinate me and when they are surrounded in summer by beautiful wildflowers they seem to yell out...."photograph me!" or "paint me!" And so I did both. The combination of a group of falling down buildings, daisies and other wildflowers at their foundations, and a river running right past was good to ignore. This is a 6x6 painting full of color and texture provided nicely by the palette knife. Enjoy!
