"Saldo Swimmin Hole" by Ann McCann 9 X 12 Oil

I posted the watercolor of this scene two weeks ago after our trip to Salado, Texas. I had to do an oil painting of it. This is where the town comes to cool off on hot days which we have many of here in Texas. It is more of a wading experience unless you sit down in it. It is a very pretty spot!

At Ease - Janet Bludau

12" x 12"
Oil on Archival Board
$150 on my Website

At Ease is my latest painting of local dinghy boats.
All the others have sold but this one is available,  being fairly "hot off the easel"!
They haven't all included dock or pier pilings but I love the strong verticals that these pillars provide.   This piece I painted a bit larger and also pushed the color - I like it and hope you do also!
As always, email me with any questions:  janethod@aol.com

Dancing on Water oil painting by Niki Gulley

"Dancing on Water" ©2011 Niki Gulley
36” x 60” oil painting

Sunlight sparkles across aqua blue water,
diamonds of purple glitter the pond’s surface;
water lilies lift their faces toward the sun and gently dance across the water.
Golden sunlight filters through the brambles and ferns,
a touch of cardinal red peeks through purple and pink foliage
while azure skies reflect in the water.

A view you will want to enjoy everyday, "Dancing on Water" is a 36" by 60" textured oil on canvas.

To see "Dancing on Water" and more of my textured palette knife oil paintings in person, stop by my booth at Art in the Square in Southlake, Texas, April 15-17. Visit artinthesquare.com/default.aspx for details.

E-mail Niki Gulley for more information.
