This was a 4th of July bouquet that I admired. I originally planned to paint the flag behind the flowers (see below) but decided that would be too busy. I love all the bright reds, oranges and blues. This is for a room that needs a little punch to it!

I saw this patriotic arrangement on Memorial Day and knew that I had to paint it.  It was a labor of love knifing around these beautiful tropical flowers- roses, birds of paradise, anthurium and others.
