"Golden Moment" by Ann McCann 11 X 14 Oil
This was a plein air painting I did in the woods around White Rock lake in Dallas. It was early morning, and the sun brightly hit this group of trees. I captured it with my knife as quickly as I could!

"Pink Monet" by Ann McCann 20 X 20 Oil
This is a pink flowering tree on the side of Monet's house in Giverny that was blooming in May 2012 when we visited. And yes, his house is really pink too with green shutters. It is a very lovely place with flowers everywhere. I painted a much smaller version that a friend bought a year ago, and I've wanted to do a larger version for some time now.

Monet's Water Lily Pond Revisited by Ann McCann 9 X 12 Oil
(c)Ann McCann in the style of Claude Monet, "Monet's Water Lily Pond Revisited," Oil on Linen Panel, 9 X 12"
I plan to submit a painting to a Dallas gallery that put out a call for Old Master paintings. Of course we will indicate that these are reproductions. I have always admired this one by Monet with the dark red background. I have visited this garden and there are deep red trees there. Mine looks different since I used a palette knife rather than a brush. I have to decide if I am going to paint a much larger one?

SOLD- "Perfect Day in Provence" & "Monet's Bridge" 5 X 7 Oils
A customer bought both of these. I am thrilled! They are from 2 different painting trips to France, the lavender and sunflowers in Provence (2015) and Monet's bridge in Giverny (2013). I am glad that others can enjoy travelling with me.

"Dune Trio" by Ann McCann 5 X 7 Oils
Here is a trio of paintings from the dunes near Provincetown, MA. They capture the beautiful light that is found in Cape Cod. The light bounces off the water and sand, and the air just sparkles. That is why so many painters have gravitated there over the last century. With this trio you could be at the beach all year round!

Spanish Lagoon & Bridge (at Plaza de Espana, Seville) by Ann McCann 9 X 12 Oil
This bridge is one of a series over a lagoon in the Plaza de Espana in Seville. I think they were going for a Venice look. You could even row a boat through the canal. We had great fun painting on the plaza with ALL the tourists and locals selling souvenirs.
