I've always loved windowboxes. They are so charming and full of color. I lived in Paris, France for a while in my 20's and there are beautiful windowboxes throughout the city and beyond. That time seems like a lifetime ago. But the little curtains in the window and the sunny colors of this painting carry my mind right back to my days in Paris.
