Contemporary Palette Knife Painting
I am currently working on a new series of landscape paintings...it is a good time to explore and experiment with my paints. Now I am in the studio for a long stretch of time, all day long with few interruptions. I have 16 paintings started, all at different stages. Most are landscapes---and one cow. The cow is a challenge.
This small wildflower landscape is completed. The colors in the wildflowers are bouncing off of each other. I must say that I did borrowed some paint from Sharon in the studio since she had piles of paint mixed up. Huge piles of beautiful paint...so much paint that the dogs got into the paint today!
