Hope you guys like this one - it is one of our local aquaducts, this one in Roman Lakes, Marple. I have painted this with a palette knife in a semi abstract manner. As I do with many of my paintings. You can see more of them on my website below. Presently in a community exhibition at Marple Library. Priced at the knockdown price of £180 ( US$280).

Original Oil Painting by Sarah Morley - 36" x 12" - Aquaduct.
I am an artist, based in Stockport, UK, where I am part of the communal art studios in an old cotton mill, Vernon Mill. Art is my second career. I started it over 30 years ago when I started a Fine Art degree which I was really not ready for.
I returned to my painting over 6 years ago. I paint mainly landscapes and seascapes in a semi abstract way that I hope invokes the feeling of 'being there'. Texture, light, colour and energy are important in my painting.
