Balboa Pavilion

Balboa Island is one of the places that I love to paint and visit.
The pavilion sits proudly in the distance for all the boats to pass by. It dates back to the turn of the century and is one of the last examples of great water front architecture from that era. It was built in 1906 and by So Cal's standards that is relatively old!
Many recreational activities are held there and it is a wonderful place to have a glass of wine and watch the world sail by.
Balboa Pavilion is painted entirely with a palette knife,
using oil on a 5x7 panel.
It comes with a black stand and sells for $125.
