Old Covered Bridge Landscape Palette Knife Painting by Peg Whitacre

A long time ago covered bridges could be seen in many areas of our country crossing small streams and rivers.  Today, many of them have disappeared from sight.  However, there are some that can still be viewed, and even a few that remain in use.   These romantic and picturesque reminders of our past offer great subject matter for photographers and painters.  This 9x12 palette knife painting has no name, but reminds us of a nostalgic time gone by.  It is available directly from the artist.  Contact me via e-mail at pwhitacre@att.net or by phone at 865-932-6729.  To see more of my work go to http://www.pegwhitacre.com/.
