St.Cyr sur Mer by Bernie Victor

Two years ago we spent a short vacation in St.Cyr sur Mer, a very small resort in the south of France. There I discovered why the Impressionists were so attracted by this area. The light was so fantastic, it just invited you to paint. Needless to say I painted nearly every day, but only having a small sketch pad and watercolours wasunable to take full advantage of the location. However I did take some photos and I recently painted using palette knives this painting of a headland from across the bay.
