"Baby Owl" by Lynda Cookson

This cute little fella was inspired by the nightly Barn Owl and Screech Owl conversations we listen to, mainly in the autumn and winter months. Since we've been here in France I haven't yet seen any owls but look forward to the day - or night - when I can say differently. Years ago, living in a little town called Greyton in the Cape Province of South Africa, we often had sounds and sightings of owls. Big owls. With huge wing spans. Absolute magic.
