Beautiful Peak District, Post 5, Original Painting, "Kinderscout Reservoir",20 x 16" by Sarah Morley $350 incl shipping
This is the fifth in a series of paintings I did recently, inspired by a walk around Kinderscout, in the High Peak National Park, Derbyshire, England. This painting is of the view looking down to Kinderscout Reservoir, that you get when you have just done the steepest part of the climb. This painting was also a challenge to do - all those greens!
I have written about the walk separately in my blog, Inspiring Art Walks with Sarah Morley. Do have a look and leave me a (nice) comment!
The colours in this painting are even better when viewed in person! It is an original oil painting with a palette knife, oil on board, and ships anywhere in the world within the all inclusive price. Great Value!

I am an artist, based in Stockport, UK, where I am part of the communal art studios in an old cotton mill, Vernon Mill. Art is my second career. I started it over 30 years ago when I started a Fine Art degree which I was really not ready for.
I returned to my painting over 6 years ago. I paint mainly landscapes and seascapes in a semi abstract way that I hope invokes the feeling of 'being there'. Texture, light, colour and energy are important in my painting.
