"Murano" by Lynda Cookson

A mixed media piece where much of the background was initially palette knife applied.

"Murano" was, as many of you can guess, created whilst on an abstract workshop with a group of artists from Israel, Australia, the States and Ireland, in Venice during July 2014. Naturally I visited the Venetian island of Murano, famous for its stunning glass art. Very inspiring indeed.

Happily SOLD and living in South Africa now.
