There
is nothing like fresh produce. Grown in the region, picked at the
height of ripeness -- I enjoy going to the local farmers' markets during
the warm months around here in northern Colorado. Can you imagine my
delight when we went to Provence, France, specifically Gordes this day,
and saw this absolutely incredible vegetable stand just waiting for the
picking and photographing? Lavender, eggplants, different types of
tomatoes, fennel, onions, and so on....yum, a meal in the making, both
in the kitchen and in the art studio. This painting honestly took at
eternity to paint and I learned much by trial and error. I hope you
enjoy viewing it as much as I did painting it! Au revoir for now!
