Once again I have returned to the portraits of owls. I find these birds fascinating and have had numerous positive comments about these little guys. Hence, I will be painting several more in the near future. These are completed with both palette knife and some brushwork. The wildlife refuges that I have haunted over the years have proven invaluable in getting close-up photos that make up most of the "owl" work I've done. This little gem is 6x6 and is available from the artist at pwhitacre@att.net. Enjoy!
