I was at my hairdressers, and he had a bouquet of small hibiscus flowers from his yard. Since they only last one day, he gave them to me to take home. I took photos as soon as I got there. Sure enough, they were gone the next morning. So, I painted this from the photographs. The oranges really glow! Thanks, John!
