This is the sixth a series of paintings I did recently, inspired by a walk around Kinderscout, in the High Peak National Park, Derbyshire, England.I have written about the walk separately in my blog, Inspiring Art Walks with Sarah Morley. Do have a look and leave me a (nice) comment! This painting was everybody's favourvite on FaceBook!
The colours in this painting are even better when viewed in person! It is an original oil painting with a palette knife, oil on block canvas, and ships anywhere in the world within the all inclusive price. Great Value!

I am an artist, based in Stockport, UK, where I am part of the communal art studios in an old cotton mill, Vernon Mill. Art is my second career. I started it over 30 years ago when I started a Fine Art degree which I was really not ready for.
I returned to my painting over 6 years ago. I paint mainly landscapes and seascapes in a semi abstract way that I hope invokes the feeling of 'being there'. Texture, light, colour and energy are important in my painting.
